Charles-Étienne Durand
Lawyer - Partner
Charles-Étienne Durand has practiced civil and commercial litigation since his admission to the Quebec Bar in 2016. His practice encompasses civil and commercial disputes, class actions, and strategic remedies, in which he intervenes with rigor, structure, and a focus on efficiency.
He holds a Master's degree in Common Law and Transnational Law from the University of Sherbrooke.
He also completed an internship at the United Nations in Geneva, working with the team of Mr. António Guterres, who was serving as High Commissioner. This international experience enriched his understanding of complex legal issues and helped him develop a comprehensive approach to litigation.
Beyond his legal practice, Mr. Durand is actively involved in the community. He is Chair of the Board of Directors of Camp Massawippi, an adapted camp for youth with disabilities in the Eastern Townships, and also serves as Secretary of the Board of Directors of C.A.R.E., a day centre for people with disabilities. These commitments demonstrate his concrete involvement in humanitarian and social causes.
In his practice, he places particular emphasis on the quality of legal analysis, the clarity of the strategies implemented, and the establishment of a lasting relationship of trust with his clients.
