Liam Schmidt

Lawyer

Liam Schmid practices primarily in civil litigation and assists clients in managing a variety of disputes. His practice includes civil litigation, arbitration, and private international law, including the recognition and enforcement of foreign judgments.

Before joining Savonitto, he practiced civil litigation at the firm Laurendeau Rasic LLP, where he was involved in the complete management of cases, drafting pleadings, and representing clients before the courts.

He has international training in arbitration and international law, notably from Stockholm University and The Hague Academy of International Law. An accredited arbitrator with the Quebec Bar, he can also act in that capacity in certain cases.

Holding a bachelor's degree in political science and psychology from McGill University, he adopts a strategic approach enriched by a multidisciplinary perspective. He is also involved in the international legal community through the International Association of Young Lawyers.
