Nicolas Saint-Amour

Lawyer

Nicolas Saint-Amour has been a member of the Quebec Bar since 2022. His practice focuses primarily on class actions, civil and commercial litigation, appeals and judicial review, as well as arbitration. Committed, pragmatic, and thoughtful, he approaches each case with the aim of finding effective solutions tailored to his clients' needs. True to Nicolas Boileau's maxim, "from the clash of ideas springs light", he favors an approach based on rigorous analysis and the exchange of ideas to move cases forward.

Holding a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Montreal and a Bachelor of Business Administration (Finance and International Business) from HEC Montréal, Mr. Saint-Amour possesses a multidisciplinary perspective that is particularly valuable in civil and commercial litigation. Before joining the firm, he served as a research lawyer at the Quebec Court of Appeal, working with the Honourable Stephen W. Hamilton, and then as counsel for the Commission of Inquiry into Foreign Interference, chaired by the Honourable Marie-Josée Hogue. He is fully committed to each case and provides rigorous support to his clients, advising them on whether to pursue litigation or negotiate a settlement.
